Hello, Thanks for the excellent photos of Lake Jackson. I have always admired this lake since I was a child. I would travel to my grandparents home in Valpariso, Fl. We always drove past this lake. I also remember the T-33 and caboose. Sometime, I would like to take my boat to Lake Jackson, just to idle around and enjoy the view. Does anyone know if the fishing is good in Lake Jackson? I bet it is. Thanks!

I love to know the story behind the plane and the caboose that use to be there…often wondered about this

Thanks. That makes sense. Do you also know how the T-33 came to be placed by Lake Jackson? There was also a caboose next to it years ago, but it decayed to the point it had to be removed.

I am not certain but with my military experience and love of history I believe JS stands for Jacksonville Naval Station.
