J.E. Hughes was my great-grandfather. His daughter Julia Hughes Price was my wonderful grandmother.

I believe that your great grandfather, JE Hughes, helped my grandmother keep her house during the Depression by vouching for her character. My aunt Carolyn O’Neal was friends with one of the Hughes daughter descendants. She mentions the name Harper. If you have any family stories or can clarify the family tree, I would be pleased to post it.
